Thanks Again and Happy New Year!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for all of the great gifts we received. I'm still wading through all of them! Lucius loves all of his toys...although wires and empty boxes are still among his favorite things.

Tom and I bought ourselves a new Toshiba Satellite laptop which means that Tom can now "mix" his music and I can download all of our digital video! Good news for family/friends waiting for Lucius video and for Daniela and Chris waiting for their wedding video. However, I'm not promising a speedy turnaround.

Lucius started playing peekaboo over the weekend. I'll try to get some pictures.

We spent New Year's Eve partying at Bonnie and DJ's in NJ. Fun was had by all. Lucius especially loved the pretend bbq set and open and closed the fridge door for 1/2 an hour. I guess we'll have to get one now. He also had a great time playing with Drew, but it took Drew a little while to get used to someone else playing with his toys ;)

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Lucius had a great first Christmas. Unfortunately, his mommy was sick. I was surprised at how well he did with all of the "strangers" and Santa. We had the big family Christmas on Christmas Eve...23 people in all. It was chaos, per usual.

Santa, with Cameron, Lu, Ryan, and William (From Left to Right). Lucius almost pulled off Santa's beard. Luckily Santa fixed it before any of the believers saw.

Thanks to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Gini, all of the kids got harmonicas. I guess Santa's cowbell wasn't enough noise.

Lu's present from CJ. He loves it!

Christmas morning Lu got his push toy from Sitty and Jagee. He was concentrating very hard and helping Jagee unwrap it.

Look at him go!

Lucius and Jagee just playing around.

Lucius and Jagee sharing a plate.

On Christmas day we ate Lamb and Ham at Aunt Cindy and Uncle Rik's. We played with Alex and William's new mp3 players and had a good time with Hammish and Odie. Of course I don't have any pictures to share. Maybe Cindy will send me some.

It's a Christmas Miracle!

Lucius slept from 7p until 7a! Yay! Of course it's probably due to us letting him cry it out the last few mornings. For the past few months he's been consistently waking at 4:30a. I heard him yacking away at 5:20a but I refused to get out of bed and to my surprise he put himself back to sleep. We're traveling to VA tonight so I'm sure that will not happen again for a long time, but it's a first.

Last night Tom asked me for the diaper cream while he was getting Lu ready for bed. The following picture is the scene I walked in on...a naked boy on all fours with a duck in his mouth. Lu is near impossible to change nowadays. The kid will NOT stay still.

Safe travels everyone!

Lu the Elf

Using those teeth

Well, I picked up Lucius yesterday from daycare and was told that he bit one of his baby friends. And so the trouble begins...His friend is fine. No blood was drawn.
We're also starting him on table foods. Like a good Polish boy he ate some pierogies last night...with tomato sauce and some peas and banana and mango dessert etc...The kid doesn't know when to stop eating!
We also got him to sleep until 7a! That's a lot different than 4:30a.

I'm also messing around with youtube. This video isn't very exciting but it's something!

Separation Anxiety

Well, it looks like Lucius finally knows who's his mama. On Sunday I left to go xmas shopping and he actually cried! He smooshed his face against the sliding glass door and then waved goodbye. Of course, he could care less when I dropped him off at daycare this morning. Too much fun stuff going on.
Lu turned 8 months on Saturday!
